The Streets Do Flow

Arts project undertaken with Amy Feneck and Laura Mansfield based on the Great North Run, Newcastle. Amy and Laura worked with a group of runners from the Wallsend Harriers to map out the city from the perspective of their activity.

Description

Output included a 48 sheet billboard above St James Metro, a run a of 8 news paper inserts in the Journal and a typographic hand map distributed at the launch.

The hand map was printed white on the reverse of the overs of the billboard, meaning everyone received a section of the displayed artwork.
